Juan Galindo
Parish Seminarian
Hi, my name is Juan Galindo, and I am a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, currently studying at Mount Saint Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
I have been a parishioner here for over ten years, and this community has played a meaningful role in my journey of faith. I began my college studies locally at UCO before transferring to Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2020, where I graduated in 2024 with degrees in marketing and theology.
It was during my time at Franciscan that the Lord truly opened my eyes to the calling He had placed on my heart. Though I believe that seed was planted at a young age, it was through my experiences there, particularly serving with the Steubenville Conferences as head of liturgy, that I came to discover a deep love for serving God and His Church. After much prayer and discernment, I came to understand that what the Lord is asking of me at this time in my life is to follow the path toward the priesthood.
I am grateful for your prayers and support as I continue this journey, and I look forward to serving this community and the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, however the Lord sees fit. Please know that you and your families are in my prayers as well.
In Christ Peace,
Juan Galindo

Bryan Wietelman
Parish Seminarian
Bryan was born in 1997 and is a native of Oklahoma City. He graduated from Southmoore High School in 2015 and later went to the University of Oklahoma. During his time at Oklahoma, he felt the call to begin practicing the Christian faith again. He was baptized around the age of 5 years old at the First Presbyterian Church of Moore, but hadn't practiced his faith in over a decade. Through his studies, he became convinced that the Catholic Church was the true Church founded by Christ and began to convert. He has been attending St. Joseph Old Cathedral from the very beginning of his Catholic journey, and he was eventually Confirmed there during the Easter Vigil of 2021.
After conversion, through a series of dramatic life events, Bryan became aware of a call to the priesthood — what at the time seemed like an unlikely call. With the help of then pastor of SJOC, Fr. Brian Buettner, Bryan started the process of a more formal discernment of the priesthood with the Church. After 3 years of prayer and participation of the parish life, he started the application process to become as seminarian. During this time, Bryan returned to the University of Oklahoma and graduated in 2025 with a BA in History. Shortly after graduation, he was accepted as a seminarian by the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
Bryan now attends Mount Saint Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland and is in the anticipated ordination class of 2032. Bryan's favorite spiritual practices are serving at the liturgy and praying the Rosary. His favorite Saints include Saint Frances of Rome and Blessed Stanley Rother.
