Description 

All friends need to spend time together to share a little of our daily lives with Him (in prayer)

Time commitment 

• Approximately 1-2 hours per week
• One hour in the monthly nocturnal vigil

Help Needed

• Seeking for people to accompany our Lord on Thursdays after noon Mass until 7pm 
• Seeking volunteers that want to spend one hour in vigil praying to our Lord, while the world sleeps

Skills or Talents 

Ability to spend one our meditating, praying or in sacred silence.

“Look upon the hour of adoration assigned to you as an hour in paradise. Go to your adoration as one would to heaven, to the divine banquet. You will then long for that hour and hail it with joy. Take delight in fostering a longing for it in your heart. Tell yourself, “In four hours, in two hours, in one hour, our Lord will give me an audience of grace and love. He has invited me; he is waiting for me; he is longing for me.” (St. Peter J. Eymard)

Scripture

When He rose from prayer and returned to His disciples, He found them sleeping from grief. He said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not undergo the test.” (Lk 22,45-46)

Todos los amigos necesitamos gastar tiempo juntos para compartir un poco acerca de nuestras vidas diarias (en oración)

Compromiso de tiempo 

• Aproximadamente 1 a 2 horas por semana
• Una hora en la Vigilia Nocturna Mensual

Se necesita ayuda

• Personas que quieran acompañar a nuestro Señor los jueves después de la misa de mediodía hasta las 7pm
• Voluntarios que estén dispuestos a velar una hora en Vigilia orando a nuestro Señor, mientras el mundo duerme.

Habilidades o Talentos 

Disponibilidad para estar una hora meditando, orando o en silencio Sagrado.

“Mira la hora de adoración que te fue asignada como una hora en el paraíso. Asiste a tu adoración, así como uno asistiría al Cielo, al banquete divino. Entonces tu ansiaras esa hora y te llenaras de alegría. Deléitate en anhelarla en tu corazón. Di a ti mismo: “en 4 horas, en 2 horas, en 1 hora, nuestro Señor me dará una audiencia de Gracia y amor. Él me ha invitado; Él está esperándome, Él está ansiando por mí.”” (San Pedro J. Eymard)

Escritura

Cuando se levantó de la oración y regresó a sus discípulos, los encontró durmiendo de dolor. Él les dijo: "¿Por qué están durmiendo? Levántate y reza para que no te hagas la prueba". (Lc. 22,45-46)
