Description 

Readers read parish announcements at the beginning of weekend Mass and proclaim Scripture, and for daily Mass, the Responsorial Psalm.

Time commitment 

Approximately 1-2 hours per week in addition to Mass time (30m for daily; 1 hr weekend)

Help Needed

Seeking Lectors for all weekend Mass times, daily noon Mass, Holy Days of Obligation, and other liturgical celebrations

Skills or Talents 

• Ability to clearly & effectively read aloud in front of the parish 
• Has an understanding of the overarching story of Scripture

Training

Readers will be required to attend one training session (1.5 hrs)
