Monthly Faith Formation Nights: Join us on the first Thursday of every month from 7pm-8pm to learn about and to grow in our Catholic faith and as a disciple of Jesus. Formation nights begin September 1st. All are Welcome!
Sacrament Preparation for Children and Youth:
St. Joseph Old Cathedral parish accompanies and prepares families for the celebration of First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation. These gifts from God heal and strengthen us along the lifelong journey of faith as disciples.
We welcome families whose children are baptized, at least 7 years old and desire to receive Jesus in the sacraments. Families who are committed to preparation through formation sessions, prayer, and Mass are asked to register online or in the parish office during office hours. Registration will open on July 25th.
A Parent Orientation will be given on August 23rd and attendance of at least one parent will be required for all who registered and whose child will receive the Sacraments.
First Reconciliation/First Communion Sessions are offered to youth grades 2 and higher on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:15pm.
Confirmation Sessions are offered to youth in grades 6th-12th on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:15pm.
The registration fee is $100. This fee will cover the purchase of a new Adventure Bible for Confirmation students, materials from Signs of Grace for First Holy Communion, and various activities and retreat fees. We look forward to serving your family.
