Currently, we can accommodate immediately those who wish to have Masses for family and friends. If you are writing a check, please make it out to St. Joseph Old Cathedral. All Mass stipends go into Church Funds. The stipend for every Mass intention is $10.00.
The Cathedral Corner: Parish Gift Shop
The Cathedral Corner is found in the basement of the Church. Diane Culbertosn and Connie Robles operate the shop, which is open after the Sunday morning Masses. Religious medals, cards, rosaries and other items can be obtained at bargain prices. The Cathedral Corner is more of a ministry than an enterprise and attempts to sell almost at cost.
Religious Education classes for grade school, middle school and high school students will be structured by a new RE Director after the Parish reopens and guidelines permit.
Weddings must be scheduled at least six months in advance.
Baptisms are by appointment.
First Communion and Confirmation preparations are two-year programs, and registration and regular attendance are essential.
Adult Religious Education
Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) classes for adults who have never been confirmed or who wish to explore coming into the Catholic Church will be scheduled when COVID-19 guidelines permit.
Register after Mass in August for all religious education classes. For questions about any of the religious education programs, please call the parish office at 235-4565, or email [email protected].
